CoronaVirus Response

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth should change, and though the mountains slip into the sea.

All Life Group gatherings are suspended through March starting immediately. After prayerfully considering the recommendations of our LG Shepherds, government agencies, and medical professionals, our Elders felt it was wise and loving to cancel LG meetings through March. In April, we will reevaluate.

How we may continue being the Church…

God is in control and we trust His perfect plan.  Out of a desire to ensure the safety and well-being of our church family, we will be moving our worship services online starting this Sunday, March 15 and for the remaining Sundays in March.  We continue to pray for all those affected by the Coronavirus pandemic – both locally and abroad.
Garfield Elementary School is no longer available to us due to the AUSD response to the Coronanvirus.  We are grateful for the past 6 years we were able to worship at Garfield Elementary.

Dear Seeds of Life Church Family,

Our leadership is reviewing dependable sources regarding the Coronavirus and are taking action to ensure the safety of our church family. The Coronavirus situation should be taken seriously. However, we do not need to be overly alarmed— trusting in God will guard us from worry. God is in control and we will do our part in keeping our church as safe as possible as we gather for worship.

SYMPTOMS & TRANSMISSION
Fever, cough, and shortness of breath which occur 2-14 days after exposure. The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to person. The coughing of an infected person can transmit the disease. People are thought to be most contagious when they are most symptomatic. Some spread might be possible by touching an infected surface and then touching one’s mouth, nose, or eyes.

RECOMMENDATIONS
  • Pray for the sick, those grieving loss, and for the illness to stop spreading.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Wash hands often with soap & water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • If you are sick, seek out medical attention, stay at home to lower the risk of spreading the illness.
  • Disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a disinfectant spray or wipe.
  • VOLUNTEERS: If you are sick please do not feel obligated to serve; kindly notify your ministry leader of your absence.
